Pray for Anne…

August 2014’s prayer requests:

Please pray for Anne…

  1. Anne starts school August 4th. Please pray for a smooth transition to 3rd grade. Pray for Anne’s teachers – that God would give them special wisdom for how to teach Anne well.
  2. Please pray for Anne to make great progress in reading and math this year.
  3. Please also pray that Anne would experience the peace and presence of God in special and significant ways.
  4. Finally, I humbly ask you to pray for me. After 10 glorious years of being a stay-at-home mom, I’m re-entering the workforce! I begin my new job as Latin Teacher at ACCA tomorrow (Canon and Kate’s school). I need God’s help as I try to balance my new responsibilities as a teacher with my ongoing work at home.

Thank you for your prayers!!! Your continued prayer and support after all these years is so encouraging to our family!

God has shown His faithfulness in so many ways over the last 5 years; He is not finished! I will be praying for all these specific requests as He continues to unfold His perfect plan in the lives of the Jacksons. I am excited to hear of your teaching this year. It will be a good thing!

Can’t wait for the upcoming stories!

  2. WOW! The first day of school for everyone! Praying Anne will have a very successful year. She’s made so much progress in so many areas! God’s not through with her yet though. May special prayer angels surround her the whole year through. God bless her teachers as they strive to help Anne achieve well this year. God bless Canon and Kate as they embark upon a new school year. May the year for them be challenging and fun.
I greatly admire your tenacity on your new adventure, too! Lots of things have changed in 10 years. I’ve been retired since ’01 and things were changing quickly my last 5 years. Be prepared for lots of paper work! Ugh! May angels be with you as you take on a career and continue being the best Mom and wife you desire to be. You’ll do just fine! Don’t forget to give yourself “me” time! We all need “me” time!
    Praising God for your courage!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you tomorrow and throughout the school year.
    One day at a time!
    God bless!

We will keep all of you in our prayers, as always. Good luck in your re-entry into the work force. I taught Latin, too, and loved every minute of it. (Please don’t say anything back to me in Latin, though. It has been 50 years since I taught it, and it is *not* like riding a bike.:))

Special prayers for your precious Anne!
