December 2012’s prayer requests:
Please pray for Anne…
- Anne’s greatest obstacle to reading is that she has great difficulty tracking letters left to right. Please pray for wisdom and direction as we try to find the best strategies to overcome this obstacle.
- Anne can get complacent and lazy. Please pray for her to put forth Spirit-empowered EFFORT to do well in school and therapy.
- Finally, pray that she would know and experience God’s great, great love for her and that she would have a deep sense of her worth to Him.

It’s been awhile since I’ve responded, but I haven’t forgot precious Anne! She is always in my prayers. As a former special needs teacher, I’m sure her teacher/s are using several strategies to help Anne over come her problem of keeping track reading from left to right. Be assured that with lotsa’ time and practice, she will be able to overcome this. I, too, dealt with many children in 30 years with the same problem. Eventually after much, much effort, the children did learn to read from left to right. As I read this, I recalled several methods I used. Patience is a virtue! God’s not through with Anne yet! In addition, I will especially pray for God to give Anne the motivation she needs. Praying, too, that God will empower her making her aware that God does love her and He’s gonna’ take care of her.
God bless Anne and the family! Prayer and God will bless Anne, as these have enveloped her on her journey!
Continue to set goals or Anne, keeping them within reach and God will provide!
